Grimecake was founded in 2025, drawing on over 20 years of experience in the film industry.

 

Having sourced authentic vintage eyewear for period films, they developed a deep knowledge of mid-century frames.  from materials and construction to the smallest design details.

 

Grimecake focuses on faithfully recreating rare eyewear from the 1950s–1970s, with uncompromising quality.

 

Every piece is built with the same care and integrity as the originals.
